Season of Mists and... a Harvest of Gorgeous Stock at Vintage Home!

As the Autumn leaves begin to fall and the nights grow chilly, we have been as busy as the proverbial squirrels, gathering together a veritable feast of vintage delights for the Vintage Home website. Included in the latest batch of loveliness are pretty eiderdowns, stunning patchworks and a variety of unique and interesting decorative homewares, in fact there are new additions in every section of the shop - the colourful, crocheted throw featured above is just one of the super textiles which will keep you lovely and warm. A huge thank you to everyone who has recently made a purchase and for your kind messages. We hope you can pop along for a browse soon.

Oh, and don't forget, a brand new series starts on Channel 4 next month: Kirstie's Crafty Britain. This sees Kirstie Allsopp visiting various country fairs and taking part in craft competitions after a crash-course in each skill.

Here is Kirstie with our 1920s O-So-Silkie Needlework Sign.

A few of the latest vintage goodies to grace the shop are shown below; this duck egg blue and cream reversible eiderdown is so very, very pretty!

Patriotic prettiness abounds in this handsewn patchwork quilt.

Dress your home in sublimely pretty 20s and 30s fabrics with this stunning patchwork.

Warm and woolly pastels come together in a diamond patchwork bag, the perfect partner for chilly days.

A bluebird and roses decorate this Victorian jug, what a sweet combination.

Rock a little one to sleep beside the fire in this delightfully diminutive rocking chair.

More beautiful vintage will be in the shop again soon...
